Spamming Mini Tutorial

This is in continuation of my effort to cast away some of my boredom and to be of some help to the newer members of this community. So without further adieu,Here's My Spamming mini tutorial.:

1. What is Spamming? Spamming is the art of shooting through obstacles(eg crates, walls) to hit opponents.

2. What all guns can spam? All rifles (i.e b 4) weapons can shoot through obstacles. Also, the Desert Eagle/Nighthawk pistol and the M249 Paramachine gun can spam as well.

3. Do spam shots offer as much damage as normal shots? No spam shots donot damage as much as normal shots, but yes it is possible to score headshots through obstacles.

4. When should I spam?As a CT, if your'e in a comfortable hiding spot and if you can hear your opponents rushing(i.e more than one enemy Terrorist coming your way), it's always a good idea to spam.I'll elaborate this with an example,Suppose your taking bombsite B in de_inferno, and you hear T's rushing from balcony/carpet area, you should probably spam the balcony wall, you will definitely score some hits.Of course all this depends upon how developed your sound sense is and if your oppenents dont walk in the carpet area.

5. Some more tips?Yeah, dont empty your cartridge while spamming, you'll need bullets when they come out haha, this was pretty obvious. If you've got an M4, silence it, that way you can hear thuds of your bullets contacting your opponents, so that you know exactly where to spam. The sniper is an awesome spam weapon, but AWP spamming anywhere outside( cs_untitled) is pretty tough, since you have such a small margin for error.

6.Some maps where spamming is important?De_nuke is a huge wall spamming map, I cant explain it all, if someone wants a more detailed explaination, ask me.That's it my mini tutorial is over.

Awp versus Scout

which do u guyz think is better ,the magnum or the scout ? well on hearin this question i know that the immmediate answer will be "magnum" but sumhow i feel that scout is better.before me makin myself clear about this lets discuss about the process and cons of both the guns.

(AWP magnam)

(Scout)

THE AWP MAGNUM                                  VS                               SCHIMIDT SCOUT

Advantage of the MAGNUM:

(1) one shot one kill....the mag will kill an object with just a single shot irrespective of whether it is a headshot or not and irrespetive of whether it is a dinosaur or a human who is the victim.

Advantages of the SCOUT:

(1) The cost.the magnum is bloody hell expensive and unless and other wise you have the magnum with you fer atleast 3 rounds at a stretch with out dying and getting atleast 2 frags a round will u be able to earn becouse your money.

(2) The weight...the scout isnt as heavy as the mag...which means that the person wid a mag will alwayz be able to run faster than one wid a mag...i know that it is possible to run wid a knife but supposed u r suddenly put under combat action then u will hv to suffer a lot.

(3)The sound...The mag is bloody hell loud like a buffalo thumping down in the middle of wall st. NY...so this means that when u r camping in a big map n u miss a shot with a mag u will easily b noticed which will not happen in the place of the mag.

(4)A deadly tool to loose...be carefull when u choose to buy a mag n supposing u get killer and the opponent picks it up then it will be a very great danger fer u in the next round....n in the case of the scout...not much of them will like to use it n thus will be ignored.

Thus all i wud like to say is that i personally feel that the scout is anytime better than the mag but wudnt resist droppin my scout fer a mag lying on the ground...lol...so long gamers...i know this wud hv a lot of critics n i wud like to hear them out...

Walle's Tutorial

(AWP Magnem)

Heard of  Walle's sniping tutorial videos? Hey will give you a good idea of how to fastzoom, or nozoom, and what he calls a "Spawn jump"

Its good to improve your shots, but if you want to know how to snipe and not get shot, you need to learn stealth. You need to know where the enemy will peek out from, and how you can see him before he sees you. A sniper shouldnt be all alone, someone should be around to give him backup if needed urgently, a sniper is weak in close combat, unless he is a pistol god.

Do you know 2nd shot nozoom is very accurate?  What i mean is, if  you miss the first shot by a small distance, and you know how far your aim was from the actual enemy, you can move your aim at him while the gun retaliates while keeping the attack one buton pressed, and when the gun fires 2nd time, it dosnt zoom, but the he accuracy is as good as when you are zooming.

Learn to hide behind walls from where you can peek easily and also escape incase of a sudden rush towards you. Its a must for a sniper to be good as pistols as well, as that is his last resort if someone sudenly comes up close and there is no time to run.

Well to be a good sniperist , you need to have a good idea about enemies' straffing. You have to be in complete stealth at the time of taking your shot. Any good opponent can easily kill you if you miss your 1st shot.So be very much cautious and  in close range, sometimes you need to take your shot without zooming.Well it totally depends on practicing more and more.It depends on the assumption that your gun ponits towards the enemy.Dont practice too much with scout. It ll affect your Magnum Sniper skill.

thanxx...

Info. Regarding Rifles...

This for everyone who might have any favourite rifle questions.

After playing counter strike , you come to learn that there are only 2 assault rifles in CS.

The M4A1 and the CV-47, there is NO favourite rifle.

The last line about buying the clarion/galil is not entirely true because sometimes some players will prefer them to the M4/CV, but those occurences are infrequent.

Next up is the AWP(magnum, sniper), which is usually bought by the sniper(s) in the team. Everyone wont run around with an AWP in hand even if everyone had $16,000. Unless you have some whacked up strategy.

Ok boys to round it up now,
When playing serious CS, the only assault weapon of choice is the M4A1/CV-47.Clarion/galil is also used, especially when you have enough cash for clarion + head armour but not enough for m4 + head armour.

As you keep playing CS, you'll come to know that head armour is more important than a powerful gun. That's one more lesson, You never buy M4A1/CV-47 without armour, that's stupid.
The remaining rifles are seldom used if at all.

I hope things are clearer now, for the newer players in this community.
All seasoned CS players, i know you already knew this.

About Counter-Strike for Newbies

(weapons)

Counter-Strike is a team-based first-person shooter in which players join either the terrorist or counter-terrorist team, and combat the opposing team while fulfilling predetermined objectives. Server settings may automatically balance teams when one team has more players than the other. Each round starts with the two teams spawning simultaneously, as one of eight different default character models (four to choose from for both the counter-terrorist and terrorist teams. Counter-Strike:Condition Zero added two extra models, bringing the total to ten). Each player generally starts with $800, two magazines of ammunition, a knife, and a pistol: a Heckler & Koch USP .45 Tactical for counter-terrorists, and a GLOCK 18c for Terrorists. Players are generally given a few seconds before the round begins (known as "freeze time") to buy equipment, during which time they cannot attack or move in any direction. Players may buy equipment whenever they are in a "buy zone" for their team (some zones can be for both teams, depending on the map) provided the round has not been in session for longer than a specified time (90 seconds is default).
Standard monetary bonuses in the game are:
  • Win a round: $3250 (awarded at the beginning of the following round)
  • Lose a round: $1400 + $500 per round lost over 1 (to maximum $3400) (awarded at the beginning of the following round)
  • Kill an enemy: $300 (awarded instantly)
  • Instruct a hostage to follow: $150 (awarded instantly. Only works once per hostage, per round)
  • Rescue a hostage: $1000 (awarded instantly)
  • Plant the bomb: $800 (awarded at the beginning of the following round)
The scoreboard shows team scores in addition to data for each player: name, score, deaths, and ping (in milliseconds) on the map. The scoreboard also shows whether each player is dead, carrying the bomb (in bomb defusal maps), or the VIP (in assassination maps), although to obtain this information about players on the opposing team a player must be dead during the round.
Killed players become "ghosts" for the duration of the round; they cannot change their names, text chat cannot be sent to or received from live players; and, while voice chat can still be received from live players, it cannot be sent to them (with the exception of a situation in which cvar sv_alltalk is set to 1, in which case voice chat can be freely exchanged between dead and living players). Ghosts are generally able to watch the rest of the round from multiple selectable views, although some servers disable some of these views to prevent dead players from relaying information about living players to their teammates through alternative media (most notably voice in the case of Internet cafes and players in the same rooms of their own homes, playing on the same server). This technique, known as "ghosting," is considered cheating in many tactical shooters.
Counter-Strike is meant to be more realistic than futuristic first-person shooters such as Quake III Arena and Unreal Tournament, but is also built to keep the action flowing faster than more realistic tactical shooters such as the Rainbow Six and Ghost Recon series. For example, relatively few shots will kill a player, and shots to different parts of the body inflict varying amounts of damage, but damage has no permanent bearing on ability to run or jump, allowing a player with just a few hit points remaining to keep fighting just as well as any other player. Movement, however, is restricted while taking damage from gunfire, and a player cannot run at full speed whilst taking damage.
There are several game types in Counter-Strike which define the objectives of each team in the game, and rules which determine which team wins. Each map is of a single game type.
